Our community compromises of many talented individuals possessing a variety of knowledge and expertise across many areas, which contribute to the British society today.
However, it is unfortunate that the full extent of our community’s abilities is effectively unrecognised due to our failure to fully intervene and engage in the political process and not represented at the local and central governments, or at any other British official institutions.
We at the Iraqi Welfare Association, work hard to develop ourselves as a community and continuously ensure that we make every possible effort to enhance the presence of our rich community at all levels. Our aim is to encourage members of our community to get more involved in public life and mingle with others, to enable us to win the rights and recognition that we deserve. This could only be done by your full cooperation.
We believe that your co-operation, eagerness and involvement is paramount in achieving our aims within society, and together we can ensure that we are recognised as a community.
